After breakfast I took to the beach for my first Thai massage. It's a full hour of a ying yang like feeling. It begins slow with the spider monkey of a woman using direct pressure up your legs to your head. About fifteen minutes in I was finally starting to loosing up and relax. I'm not one for massages but it had to be tested and for 250 baht, not the cheapest I've seen but still a good price, it was time. Ok so back to it being relaxing. Certainly it is, until you have the feet and elbows of a complete stranger in places you forgot existed, and all of a sudden your ankle is up over your head and your being slapped in the back. Luckily they use tiger bomb to warm up your muscles a bit better and the tingling sensation turns into a burn and here we go again! Im suddenly in a leg lock with this miniature woman and she gives me a move I can only describe as around the world, throw your hands up and let it go! I'll show you when I see you next. Now back to the relaxing part. Ahhh my temples, ooooh my giant forehead, oh my god, is that tiger balm I smell? Oh god it burns my face, oh, now your fanning me with your fingers, oh this is nice. As serious as I am about stating it's the perfect mixture of pleasure and pain, or the fact I could have worded it differently and it would have sounded like quite the love story I feel like I could do anything after that massage, and I shall. Bang lassi milkshake anyone?
Fun fact: I have no clue what day it is.
